Religious and Cultural Voices Meet in Madrid

A notable gathering in Madrid brought together faith communities, cultural voices and social actors to reflect on the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The event, hosted by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, highlighted intercultural coexistence, religious freedom and respect. The meeting included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from news eu vote the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers presented reflections from faith, culture and public service on how education can help build more inclusive communities.

Throughout the gathering, participants considered themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity is a value for society when supported by education and dialogue.
